Using A Tracker

Each of our Trackers are quite straight forward to use. Let us take you through one of our Trackers, the Annual Budget Tracker. This will show an example of how the Annual Budget Tracker can be used to monitor and record spending in up to 6 areas of your budget. This allows you to track whether or not you are overspending throughout the year rather than waiting until the end of the year and realising you have blown your annual budget allocation.

The top section of the Annual Budget Tracker is where you input the items you want to keep an eye on and the amount you wish to spend on those items over a year. You also input a starting date. The programme will automatically calculate how much you have available today to spend on these items.  Below is a snapsot of the top section of a completed Annual Budget Tracker.

The next part of the Annual Budget Tracker is the recording section which gets completed after you have purchased items that fall under your chosen category. You record what you purchased and how much you spent.  Below is a snapshot of the recording section of a completed Annual Budget Tracker.

As each item gets input under the chosen category, the programme automatically tracks the amount you have available today to spend in that category. You can instantly see how much money you still have available to spend in that area. Alternatively you will instantly see if you have blown that section of the budget and need to rein in your spending. Using this tool helps you to prioritise your goals and keep control of your spending habits. Below is a snapshot of the final section of a completed Annual Budget Tracker.
