Children : Eating Out
- Eat at restaurants that encourage children by having a set children’s menu.
- See if your restaurant offers a children’s meal deal. Often children can get a meal, soft drink and ice cream for a reasonable price.
- If you have fussy children that aren’t likely to eat much when they are out, feed them before you go out. Then all you need to do when you are out is order something really small and less expensive or just give them some bits and pieces off your plate.
- Ask for free tap water to come with your meal. This will save you having to buy lots of drinks for the family.
- If you have a couple of children, it might be cheaper to purchase an adult sized meal and divide that up amongst your children rather than buying individual children’s meals. You will need to ask for a couple of extra plates and cutlery.
